A few weekends ago, Kolya decided that he no longer wanted training wheels on his bike. Uh....okay...we thought. We had no idea that it would take him less than a half hour to literally teach himself how to ride! Mykola and I showed him the very basics and tried to keep him steady, at which point he told us he no longer needed our help. Well, we just assumed that he would fall and fall and fall, again, but to our surprise, he didn't fall once! (That is until the next day when he scraped his knee and elbow and thought the end of the world had come!) We are so proud of him! He got the idea in his head, he persevered and he came out on top ~ Way to go Kolya!!
